Anybody else got squeeky vents?

Sounds painful :eek: but the car is only 8mths old and the two vents on either side of the dash squeek like hell. It's 10K service is not for a while [and to be honest I can't be bothered dropping it off at the garage] so does anybody have any bright ideas of how to stop it? :)

WD40? Smelly for a bit but will go to leave them squeak free.

My 51 plate mini has an odd squeak that seems to come from the top part of the dash.....its not constant but its just one of those things......

As for my 1971 mini, i cant possibly begin to list all the squeaks, rattles, bangs, clunks it has......

Do what I do.....turn your music up :D

my 53 plate cooper squeaks at times in the middle vent too. Not always though.

Turn up music or get ear plugs:D

I'll give the WD40 a bash and see if it stops the noise. If not, I'll try the stereo trick;) Thanks.:)
