I have been looking at this rear spoiler and cannot make my mind up
what do you think is it nice or ugly

Ugly! IMHO.

Think it should probably fit. Shaz has a splitter on his aero kitted Cooper, but you would run into the old speed bump problem again!

Uck, don't like either. Fi, I think you were right with your original idea of only fitting MINI/JCW kit! ;)

I like the front splitter Fi but in my very humble opinion the spoiler is icky! I really don't like spoilers like that.

Dinnae like the spoiler Fi - too "fast and furious" looking ;)
Splitter looks ok but i'd be fitting it without the silly looking bars attached to the front bumper as if you take it off you'll leave holes!

Thanks for helping make my mind up I've decided not getting the spoiler.
So glad Gaj you mentioned the speed bump thing no way am I going back to that so that's a big no to the splitter aswell.
I think one of my big problems is that I over accessorise my cars don't know where to stop so thanks for the feedback and should you see me wanting something naff speak up.:)

The Spoiler looks just like the ones they use on the UK John Cooper Challenge Mini Cooper S cars. Would look tacky on a road car i think.

Had a wee look at their wesite though and they do some rather interesting stuff in the MTH/CST area..........Martin 'MTH 'Sullivan...have you seen what they claim they can do with the 'switchable' mapping?
Cheers!

Fiona, looking at the splitter I dont think speed bumps would be too much of a problem as it looks as though it sits in line with the bottom of the bumper - so if the bumper goes over , so will the splitter

Although its in line, would the fact its further forward from the Bumper make it more likely to hit the speed bump as the wheel hasnt had time to rise over the bump?

Good point Duncan, although it doesnt look like it sticks out too far. Think Fiona has talked herself out of it anyway :D
