Select the one which gives you what you seek, they both work though the 19 per cent gives less stress on the supercharger

I have a 17% pulley, and can get 19psi boost

Not sure about that bonnie - surely a 19% puts MORE strain on a supercharger than a 15%

that must surely be over boosting sully, because i remember reading somewhere that 19% gave you 1.2 bar,and if my calculations(in my head) are correct thats 18.4 psi or there abouts

:I You are quite correct :I

i dont believe its over boosting - i only get 18 psi at very top end on cold days when the air is denser, and thats after modifying the bypass valve to prevent so much boost leakage and a lot of other subtle mods. where my boost gauge is mounted is not ideal - so I may be reading it a little bit high - but if you look on mini2 - you will see that a Works Cooper S is capable of 18PSI but when it does the tracion control light comes on and stays on until the car is switched off.

According to online conversion 1.2 bar is in fact 17.63 PSI, I certainly get way over that

Check these threads re the 18 PSI problem with DSC

over 18, psi is over boost then, (to much boost not enuf fuel)

Thats why I have 400cc injectors coming ;)

The GTT test car is kicking out higher boost than that and doesnt use larger injectors. Thats not why the traction control kicks in though, car just doesnt know what to do with that much power when the wheels start to slip.

Your gauges may not be in the ideal location sully, but they are quite snazzy!!;):D
