Had "Bob" out for his first long run this weekend and ended up at Dunnet head, seemed appropriate as on "Stu"'s last run 4 weeks ago we were at Mull of Galloway :D
Stunning spot with superb views. I'd forgotten how good (and empty :p) the roads up the far north are (not been for a couple of years)
Bad news is major roadworks are underway north of Helmsdale to remove the great section of twisties :(
Photos - Scotland end to end :D (sounds like a good idea for a run, eh Willie ;))

Congrats at making it up this far, the the last bit of civilisation known to man, beast, or MINI owners!

The roadworks are a blessing and a pain, cos it will mean that I know longer get caught behing all the tour buses, taking old folkies up here, that I always get caught behind in the summer, but it does mean that I will loose lots of opertunities to get the back end of the car screaching a bit ;) Not that I have ever doent hat you mind

Well done Duncan :D

My original plan for the MOG run was to take a couple of days and finish up in Dunnet Head. Sadly pressure of work, etc. got in the way and I wasn't able to plan it right through.

Glad to see someone followed in the original spirit of the run though ;) Lovely part of the world up there :approve:
