With a housing site, I will personally carry out everything from the survey and site investigations to roads, drainage and structural design of the houses, so I will see a greenfield site turn into a housing development knowing that I've designed pretty much everything all by my ickle self, thus why I would never buy a house on one of these sites!!;):p

well think about it you have posted who you work for and what your job is.

Some one could use it to clone your identity for various reason.

Or indeed who knows what they could use it for but in this day and age is it better to be safe then sorry.
Or a person could make out they work for your company doing your job and be able to get "something" illegally wouldn't your company want to know how they got that information.

Maybe I'm just a cautious.

For me well it just the type of job I do I guess and the enviorment.

My main area of expertise is World and European Sheet Maps, and European Road Atlases. (Although I also work on World Atlases, Educational products, Leisure products, and contract jobs specific to a customer.)

I have to make sure (with a team of other people) that the products we produce are as up-to-date as they can be, created the most efficient way, accurate, meet the brief of my customers (internal and external) and go to the printers on time.... That's where MacBlob comes in!! :D

My main one is for RWE NUKEM (www.rwenukem.co.uk) as a skilled plant operative, on contract to the UKAEA (www.ukaea.org), at the Dounreay Nuclear Site. Basically I walk around one of the decomissioning reactors monitoring guages, taking reading, pressing buttons to react Sodium with water (honest we do! just we do it controlled like) and generally being a good guy.
I am also qualified with RWE NUKEM as a Health Physics Surveyor! Basically that is I can walk around with a geiger counter looking for radiation where it shouldn't be! Not a bad job as it has sent me out to Canada to work 3 times for a couple of months at at shot (I'm one of only less than 12 Brits qualified to do that work in Canada!:cool:)

Part time, I half own a mobile disco DYNAMIC SOUNDS (www.dynamicsoundsdisco.co.uk), and do a weekly show on CAITHNESS FM (www.caithnessfm.co.uk).

Im Kosta, and im a Wastewater Engineer for a company called United Utilities PLC. UU PLC are responsible for all Water, Wastewater, and Electricity Distibution services throughout the North West of England. All the way from Crewe in Cheshire upto the Scottish Border.

I am one of 3 guys repsonsible for the operation of a large Wastewater Treatment Works in Lancaster, which can treat upto 87 million litres of wastewater per day, and has a further 93 million litres of storage. My job involves allsorts, but, our main task is to ensure the works remains compliant to the discharge consent set by the Environment Agency. Failure to be compliant can result in prosecution! Dont jump to conclusons and think i shovel sh*t for a living, we're not in the dark ages! Lots of technology used on my works (UV Treatment for instance)... intricate stuff!

They say you cant polish a turd... yes you can, its my job!

Social Worker in a residential school for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties with a secret mission to deforest the world (ecare has not yet been adopted in this field of social work). My day can involve anything from writing reports for the children's hearing system, mediation between individuals/ groups/ families, deciding which method of intervention suits the needs of individual children, groupwork, to running (and I mean running) around school chasing kids to persuade them that maths and Eng are actually better for them than tobacco (sometimes with little success!!). I get to do lots of fun stuff cinema (great for catching up on zzzzzz), bowling, trips to Murrayfield, holiday activities etc. I also play football, softball, and other sports with them. My job is unpredictable, hard work, frustrating and tremendously rewarding. :D:D:D The kids are also unanimous in identifying my car as the coolest in school :D:D:D:D

I'm working with three american 'Oceaneers' at the moment as we sub contracted the bombing out to them as we have two lines in full swing in Evanton back in the UK plus the AUT stuff here in Bama and all the crap on the Deep Blue. We couldnt get staff in time. They only do the bombing though. We do everything else.

Its pretty good over here in the states. The only thing is, the americans dont have many pipeline quality welding companies so they tend to contractr out to British companies. This means most of the guys working there are British. In turn this then means that there are men being paid every day they work in the states meaning 12 hour days with no days off. We have been working flat out since May 22nd with not one day off, 6am - 7pm. Think we are getting this next Sunday off but we will still be working most off the day doing maintenance etc.

Mind you, if you brush up on your stuff, theres welding inspector jobs going over here paying $800 per day. SWEET!!:D

I work for a loft insulation manufacturer called Superglass insulation (http://www.superglass.co.uk/) based in stirling.
I am involved in the packaging process of the plant, i am also a standin furnaceman which involves turning the molten glass into mineral wool. I also get to be standin chargehand which means that i get to stand about watching other people working while i do nothing.
