I would sugest, but i just found out that Fintray isn't as far from Aberdeen as I thought it was so I'll leave it upto the locals to decide like. lol

Or how about a social gathering at an alcohol selling establishment in Aberdeen on Sat night to discuss the plans?

I dont think you pay for fintry. Its on public roads as far as I know...

Yes Bonnie, the one opposite B&Q. I'll be meeting graham there at 8:45.

C-ME-SWIM, I already have a passenger, but i'm sure Tez would take you, wont you Tez! Or Graham, or maybe even ALAN in his WR1!!!! Actually Mark, you can take my car, and I'll go with Alan in his WR1:D.

Failing that, I'll take the CRV and then theres plenty room for passengers.

You do pay admission for fintray, its usually about £4 if I remember rightly, and its not public roads - its in the grounds of Fintry house

I'll have the Laguna, so I'll have space for 2 passengers, as my mate is coming with me.

My SAT-NAV actually knows where the park-n-ride is, so If I get lost form the main group, I'll stil find my way!

YIPEE! I've finally been to my first real Motorsport event, well eventually! (Note to self - Going drinking at 4pm on a Saturday, not finishing till 2am on Sunday IS NOT a good idea if your supposed to be driving at 9am)

It was a great day I mad it in time to see John do his last practise run, then I got wet! Didn't bump into anyone and I was walking around a lot!

Decided as I had to drive back home, that I'd wait and see the first set of timed runs! Was watching the minis go and John had just got to the start line when the GF phoned, so I missed the whole of John's run, and I never even noticed his time!:( Ah well, maybe next time I won't drink the night before and I will turn up for the whole day!

Just a pitty about the Condition.. Think john packed the rain cause every run he did the heavens seamed to open and then dry up around 40 seconds later.. never mind.. A good dayy had by all as far as i know...

Nice to see so many minis in the car park !!!!!!!!!!Some old Some New..

Cheers Brizeeeee

Yes you should prob not have been driving, I did comment on that when you phoned me in the middle of the night, 820am! And I'd been drinking for 10 hours non stop! The last thing I had to eat was a steak pie supper from the chipper in Fochabers at 8pm on Friday, so I think I did rather good! Mind you first thing I did when I got into Fintray was get a cheese burger and a can of hangover cure IRN BRU :p:p:p

And what about Jeanine phoning eh! lol :D

And Sleepy, why no pics of Granda! He was parked right next to Bumble (when I finally found the place) lol

It was Olly Mortimer... didnt exactly landon his roof, just hit the embankment, and landed on its side. No major damage really, just rad, front panel, bumper, and bottom arm. He was back out on the Sunday, after sitting in the hailstones at fintray till gone 20:00 fixing his car. Must've been fine because he went flying past us on the motorway near Kinross driving home in the mini.
