They used to do Super Unleaded years ago, but can't remember the RON rating it was.

Sounds good might try it when (if) it comes up here. Not been a fan of supermarket petrol in the past.

List of srores selling Tesco rocket fuel:

99 OCTANE STORES:
Beford 1
Cheshunt Extra
Crawley Hazelwick
Gallions Reach Extra
Gillingham Kent
Lakeside Extra
Ramsgate Manston
Salisbury 2
Sandhurst Extra
Sevenoaks Riverhead
Stevenage Extra
Winchester

I found this on another site, thought it was interesting:
It would be interesting to find out if this is a 'distilled to 99 RON' product or the result of an additives package to bring it up to 99. Optimax is distilled to 98 RON. Because it is a cetane and a biproduct from the distillation of something else, so true 98 RON(but not really Petrol as we know it). The other super unleaded fuels are the result of an additives package to bring them up to 97. The problem with additives packages is that they go off over time, so if a certain garage does not sell much 97 RON, you may find that you pay extra cash and get 95 because the additives have expired.
