Well you Optimax users better fill up.
Been mad at work today they got the jitters.
Although since the last protest it is now illegal to block the gates on any refinery.
The Oil Companies seem to think it will not get as bad as the last time.

It was planned for the 3rd May apparently.
My issue is that I'm supposed to be in Cheshire on Thursday for a presentation - might be getting the train!

BIG meeting in stirling on friday night by some of the protestors. Looks like it is all going to start again. Time to fill the jerry cans in the garage so I can still get to work...

It was a letter from the Home Office.
If the police were manning a petrol station then you showed them the letter, and they were supposed to let you fill up.
The Railway also had permission to fill up with Red diesel as a last resort, but had to fully document its use.

Time to get diesel cars! And get a job on the railway!
Do you think theyl take out a diesel Cooper?

Not just the Railway that were on the list, we were something like no 23 out of 50
The emergency services had first call naturally enough. I'll have to see if i still have a copy of the letter on file.
Somewhere down south hired loads of vans, which came with a full tank of diesel, and took them back when empty.

Just the other day I mentioned to someone at work that I was surprised the haulage industry hadn't started protesting about the price of fuel. This thread's the first I've heard of rumblings in the jungle. Nae ahin time! Is this low key stuff or will it go national? Havent heard anything about this but this might be due to not having read a paper for yonks :I:I
