That's why you need to get yer hands on a Pipercross / K&N / RamAir (yes John... fits lovely and looks the B*llox! - nice sucky sounds too!) and a Playmini exhaust!
They really sound the part, and are about the cheapest too I think! ;)

ive emailed him a couple of times, as im desperate for a piper x induction kit,..but the boys ignoring me.....
if i cant speak to him in the next day or so i may have to go somewhere else, as dennis is screaming for some more growl!!

I would recommend the Ramair filter (cos I know someone who has it...not me Occifer..<ahem>.. ;))
It's easy to fit and when fitted doesn't flap about like the new PiperX one, it's more solid mounted.
And you get a funky wee breather filter to go on the end of the breater pipe!! :D
Comes ready oiled too! (fnar! ;))
20 mins max to fit (I was taking my time like a big girl's blouse ;))
If you want a nose, just ask on Saturday!
