Whipped out my passenger seat today. Obviously had to disconnect the seat airbag sockets, but now, having replaced the seats and ENSURED the plugs are connected properley, I have an airbag warning light on.

Does the system have to be re-set or something?

Did you switch on the ignition while the seat was out?

Yep, if the ignition is turned on with the airbag disconnected it will bring the light on and latch it. Dealer reset only - they might charge you. Speak to C_me_swim though he might know a man who can help you :D

Hey Fi.

It's coming along nicely.

What a mess of cables though!!! Most of them I have binned becasue I can find no use for them! I assume you didn't run the system through standard mini cabling, although thats what it looks like.

I was having trouble getting wiring diagrams but I seem to have everything now. The head unit is in, 6x9s are in, tweeters in, cabling in (all new relacing all bmw stuff)... All thats left to do is fit the amp, reciever, sub and recover the false floor in alcantara.

Oh, and sort the airbag problem :I
