I canane get in on the clicky.

What about here www.sidc.co.uk

A few guys on the main site have WR1 and are friendly then you've got the Scotish Site they are always on runs.

So what do you think about the Turbo re Lag against the supercharged Mini.

I've just taken the blue coop out today straight after driving the scooby I really notice the difference mini is quicker at the start but once the scooby has wound it self up it;s off.

mind you i've not got the WR1:(

Fi, i'm not quite into the online experience with the Scooby as much as i STILL am with the mini.
The turbo lag is ridiculous, but, it don't last for long
One thing about the mini was i could accelerate virtually in any gear, the Scooby defo needs to be in the right gear ;)
I must admit i am impressed with it :clown:

BS how's your new motor doing:question:

what do you think turbo or supercharged :)

just checked my mpg for the first time (wrx with ppp fitted) 27.7 mpg which I was please with and I hope it will get better the more miles the car covers.

What do you get in the WR1.

Gismo
12th April 2005, 12:07 AM
Aye, stuck offshore, but for the times i have driven it i must say it's growing on me, it'll never be a mini, but then the mini will never be anything else :p
As much fun as the mini was to chuck round corners the scooby can do it just as well, at my driving abilities anyway ;)
As for mpg, 20  and that's taking it easy

The turbo gets bogged down if you're even slightly in the wrong gear, my old mini would give it a good race as the gear changes weren't so crucial, the mini had lightning response whereas the scooby needs thrashing :p

BS - VERY tasty. The interior has been vastly improved since I saw one.

I've pointed a few out to my other half but she's having none of it, so I'll need to find something else. She think's if I got one I'd need to move to Essex and start wearing white socks. Women, eh?
