Going to see them this Thursday at the Carling Academy. I don't think I've ever been this excited in my life!!! My dad's sick of hearing their album, it's been on non-stop for about the past month.

Anybody been to see them before, when they were just ickle? If not, can anybody tell me what the Carling Academy is like?

I've been to the Academy a few times now. Its a good venue, plenty bars, but i doubt they'll be open for a Hanson gig.:eek:

Where's your tickets for? Upstairs or down?
If your upstairs, the very front row has a great view, but your not allowed to stand.
If you want merchandise, its only downstairs, and you have to fight your way through the people coming out.

Downstairs, theres 3 levels, if you want to go right to the front, then be there early.
Acoustics are good.

I'm downstairs in the standing bit and I will be there at LEAST an hour before the doors open so that, when they do, I can chain myself to the front.

And FYI KJ, the drummer is 18 not 19! :approve:

I would say it'll be quite calm, with not too much pushing down the front, unlike the NME tour, but if its Hanson that are playing it'll be all teenage girls. 10 times worse!

Don't make too much noise on the way out, you'll upset the neighbours ;)

Aw, man!!!! What a gig!!! It was FANTASTIC! Never been to a better gig in my life. *swoons* got millions of pictures of them all, we ended up about two rows from the front. BRILLIANT!!! What a night! Definately going to see them again.
