Personally speaking, I think Toyos are the best tyres I've used, however we have the F1's on the 911 and they are also very very good, therefore I have been bog all help!!;):D

I've not had experience of either of these so can't comment:I but what about Yokohama's:eek: Had the 539's on my XR2 and they were sooooooooooooooooperb. The new ones are even better so I've heard :p:D:approve:

Gotta say that the Uniroyal Rainsports on the F1's i've got now are even better than the Yoko's but if these aren't on your radar Scottie then i've also been no help :I

I have Toyo Proxes T1-S on the car 205/40 17 - £66 per corner of www.mytyres.co.uk and have lasted about 15K so far - 5mm left on the front - 4mm on the rear. Thinking about another set deffo - maybe the T1-R for improved rain performance but to be honest i think the T1-S is pretty good.
I chose the 205/40 over 215/40 coz there was about a £15 per coner difference in price.
My mate owns the McConnecys / HiQ chain and i am going to see what he can do for me with the FI GSD-3 pricewise - i understand that the goodyear are a better tyre than the Toyo, but i don't think they are worth double. Plus a sidewall puncture on a £65 tyre is hardly the end of the world - its a bit more critical on a £125 tyre!!

Fiona,

all of the Traffic cars at work at are on Eagle F1's and those guys swear by them (although I did see a 5 Series on the back of a transporter yesterday all banged up :D:D) They drive them very hard and I never seem to hear a bad word said. When new cars are delivered, they take the rubber off and put the Goodyears on and through away the new rubber!

I've just got F1s put on my S and I really like them. Haven't tried any of the other tyres mentioned, but with the way the F1s handle then I probably won't bother changing to anything else. Love 'em. :p

Love the eagle F1's, uncle has them on his 5 series too and he loves them too. The handling in wet and dry is superb has to be said.
