Tnonight on the road between Doune and Dunblane just after the Argaty road end round a right hand corner.

He's ok but a bit shocked

The back slipped outhit the banking but ended up flipping the car twice nose to tail.:(

Renault Clio.

they reckon he slipped on ice says he wasn't going fast.

He or rather his dad replaced one of his tyres last week on the back it was a differnet make and tread pattern to the other one surely this would have affected the grip.

What do you guys think and if so why did the tyre dealer not advise this.

If it was ice then it wouldn't matter what make of tyres he had on the back :blackeye: Generally its better to have the same type of tyre on the same axle just to keep the feel from either the front or the back uniform8) Sounds like the tyres had nothing to do with it though. Glad he's OK that's all that matters in the end :p:D:approve:

The unwriten law is same axel, same tyre !!!
not always possible tho,as people cant wait ,if the dealer doesn't have the correct tyre in stock.
But he should have been advised.Glad he's ok though !
