Ebay is never a bargain.
As far as I can see it has pushed the cost of used parts up to very high levels
Classic mini parts often sell for more than they cost new
An 80's MOT failure mini in Glasgow (needing welding) went for over £500 last week
The world is going maaaad! :p;)

I have had some good bargains from Ebay, the problem is that too many people believe the hype and think that everything on ebay is cheap and end up paying silly money - there are also too many numptys who get drawn into it and cant stop bidding even when something goes way over what its worth because they dont want to be seen to "lose".
