For thieve of you who may have not seen the news, sadly Paddy Hopkirk has passed away. Paddy became a household name after his win of the Monte Carlo rally in 64 with car number 37 33EJB. He became a brand ambassador for MINI worldwide with his name most recently put in the F56 special edition.

Our thoughts go out to his loved ones

Met him at MINI 50 at Silverstone in 2009 in the WC50 launch tent, a legend and a gentleman.
This was the same weekend that Malcolm decided to order the WC50 & the legendary 193 was born. Malcolm also got Paddy to sign the MINI50 disc that we all got (he was a clever man) and it adorns 193 to this day.
