Hi to one and all

I’m waiting for my new car to be delivered, Mini Countryman Cooper S All4. I’m looking forward to getting behind the wheel as I’ve only been in one for a test drive. It’s basically the same as my BMW X1 so not really surprised if it never misses a beat. This will be my third new Mini but I’ve had several of the originals in the past. I even had one with a 1430cc engine and then realised I had to up the brakes from drum to disc. I shoved a full janspeed exhaust on it and it sounded great but wouldn’t stop.Ha! Yes that was along time ago before anyone asks.

I won’t be modifying the new one except for a few extras I threw on.

I’ve opted for the Exclusive model, black, brown seats, 19” Turnstile wheels and with heated steering wheel. The hands were damaged after a bad accident on my bike - Honda SP1 and a set of wind deflectors, waiting to go on once it’s here.

The sport was tempting but I’m getting too old to be driving a JCW look alike. Only joking.

Aye Janspeed were good, my mate put Peco on his. A mini specialist dropped a 1.8 lotus engine into a Mini, it pushed the front seats back to mate it a two seater. Flying machine of the 80’s.
