Last Minute Run 10th October 21

[MINI William]

Little bit short notice but going to have a run on the 10th October that will take in some great roads in and around Midlothian, East Lothian & The Borders.

No set route as yet but will update as and when we have a route.

Start location will be the Park and Ride at Eskbank (EH22 3LD) that has a Tesco just up the road to allow people to get fuel, toilets and breakfast if you want it.

Start time will be 10 for a 1030 start

Can you add my mum to but just as a passenger in mine - although not sure I can persuade her to be out all day and night. I Don't want to miss a chance at some more nice roads. Thankyou

Started to recce the run today but run into a road closure for the A708, trying to see if it’s going to be open for Sunday or not. If not will need to resort to an older run.

Run has now been recced, sadly can’t use the original run that was planned but we’ve done a new run in the morning and mashed up some good roads we’ve used before for the second half. Lunch will be in Galashiels where there it’s lots to choose from including Tesco, Asda, M&S with cafes etc all about.

The postcode is on the 1st page mate - I clocked that this morning when I went to ask the same question cos a couldn’t find the park and ride on my SatNav :D

Eskbank P&R is next to the college. The post code is correct and worked for other runs when we’ve met here.

The P&R is accessed via the B6392, roundabout after Tesco roundabout.

Hi guys......just wondering if this run went through Stow on the A7, then eventually turned off to the right to head for the A68? We pulled out our drive today in Poppy our R52 MCS and somehow ended up in a convoy of MCW's! Was awesome! lol:D

haha, nice one William! Yours sounds immense from behind!! We were on our way to grangemouth to buy an oem wind deflector for Poppy. Would have been awesome to tag along for the whole run, looked amazing seeing all those sweet Minis! Will keep an eye out for the next one for deffo!. Oh, and will need to get some club stickers too, left the ones we had the last time on Carly Cooper lol. Thanks for letting us join the convoy guys, really made our day!
