I'd say cars are for driving & I'd reckon a few thousand miles of enjoyment wouldn't dent the value enormously.
Otherwise it's a museum piece.

Totally agree. I don’t think I’d be able not to register it and give it the odd run out.

It’s like having a rare bottle of unopened Single Malt, worth lots but never being enjoyed or fulfilling its true purpose. Sort of sad when you think about it. I mean imagine if Nick Mason never drove his fabulous Ferrari 250 GTO - what a waste - thankfully he does, frequently. Unfortunately unlike Nick’s GTO, the “USP” of this “RSP” is that it’s never been used, and if you do use it (hopefully after putting new rubber on it and new fluids in it) it arguably becomes ‘just’ another Mini, albeit in stunning condition & low miles.
