Was wondering if a N18 fit in to the R56 to replace the N14 if so is engine mounts the same and is the loom any different just asking for info as not decided if i am going to keep it and do the swap or sell and get something else, TIA

I’d imagine engine mounts are the same. Not sure about the harness

Had the motor for over a year now but only got it for a stop gap and a wee run around but have heard too many stories about the N14 reliability and was told the N18 was far better but even they have issues so was just asking for any info, thank for getting back anyway,
