Updated my Idrive to version 6 and it feels like a new car. Full screen google and Waze maps. The new 3 tile Home Screen with active map. Better voice integration.

I have been running it for 3 weeks and didn’t post it sooner as wanted to make sure that it ran with no issues. It runs perfectly.

Loving it, feels like a new car.

8839The new system is far better. Does it give you the option to change the layout to Sport? With the red theme rather than the Blue. Where did you get the update from?

It is the full system to change the same as the LCI2 and it is awesome. You need to get CarPlay activated as its pretty good ��

Is this what you mean? I think they are called Lounge and sport in the new settings

The coding was done by a guy on the F56 forum Ndal.

I am back at work now so wont get to play with it again for a wee while, i will check out the tyre temps on my return.
The digital display just has the same functionality from what i could see.

Can’t get tyre temps on the new system Ali. It’s only available on the first F56 idrive
