just joined. Owner of numerous first gen minis during my younger days. Came back to minis 5 years ago with a BMW Cooper 2 petrol version. Traded it in a month ago for a Cooper SD 143. Red with black stripes. Hyde Park, whatever that means. But rather smart inside. Very nice to drive. Love the torque. I live in France but joined Mini Scotland on the strength of my many happy days spent in Rosyth as a member of the RN.
