Hello All,

I'm new to the forum, and to new mini ownership. I had a 2000 Mini 40 classic back in the day, but have this month taken the plunge into BMW land. My sister has owned 3 new minis, she's convinced me they are worth an old mini old geezer considering.

I bought a Mini Cooper S Mayfair Mini 50 this month (needed to get a car for the CV-19 lockdown, long story...). It's Pepper White, it had a heap of problems on purchase, am using my WFH extra hours to work my way through them. Wheels were knackered, Bonnet cable was bust, that danged water pump is leaking...

Wheels fixed and powder coated RAL 2003 pastel orange. (Look ACE..!) Bonnet cable repaired on the drive (after 2 deliveries from LA MINI Parts in Sheffield, 4 hours and a lot of swearing) but still struggling with getting someone to do the water pump - too far beyond my tools available here. I know its a right b***er... No parts available, no garage open.

Best to you all in these tricky times...
