MINI SE Launch & Drive Harry Fairbairn 7th March 2020

The highly anticipated SE is only a few weeks away and Harry Fairbairn have asked us along to an exclusive launch for NMS members on the 7th March at Kirkcaldy where there will be a car to have a look around and also have a wee shot of. Postcode is KY1 3NQ

As always there will be refreshments and some cake along with the usual good laughs and smiles that come as standard with any NMS meet.

As always everyone is welcome along and please don’t be shy, the more the merrier.

Time will from 13:30 onwards for the meet, giving the guys at HF to clear some space for our cars to be proudly present outside as normal.

Please note the date change. This is to allow NMS to have early access to the cars early before the 8th allowing us to have longer looking around and driving the cars due to demand for normal customers registering in the 8th.

Cleaned both of ours last night. So they both should be okmish. Except for the dirt from driving to kdy.

Have we got a set area to park up in... mind am comming straight from work. So will be around 240pm..

A huge thank you to everyone who came along today, it was also nice to see some new faces there. Also a huge thank you to Charmaine, Adam and the rest of the HF Team for putting on such a great day and answering all our questions about the new SE.

I was pleasantly surprised by the SE and what it has to offer, yes the range isn’t quite what we would all like it to be but it drives exactly as you would expect a MINI to drive just with the lack of pops and bangs. Can I see us getting one, in short YES, but not until it comes to a natural point in changing cars, that may be Megan’s next car or the car after that. It’ll all depend on what MINI do with the E brand and how it will filter through the range. A hatch just wouldn’t be practical with the little one arriving in June.

Great day out ,new faces which is nice and good food ...loved the cakes.
‘Electric cars like it or not are here and they are not bad at all ,accelerating today on wet roads would have left a JCW struggling to keep up ,not once did it fail to grip ,will it suit everyone probably not but then we are all different.
