F56/F57 JCW Brake calliper set up

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a difference in the brake calliper set up on both the F56 and F57 JCW? I have a colleague who can’t fit a set of 18” cross spoke rims to his F57 unless he fits spaces to clear the JCW brake callipers yet he’s been told these fit the F56 without spacers !

I don’t know specifically if there’s a difference between the F56/7 brake setup, I’d be surprised if there was though.

I do know that with the Track Spoke wheels for the F56 there’s a set that does fit the JCW brakes and a set that doesn’t. They look pretty similar except the JCW ones have more of a bow to allow space for the callipers. I wonder if there’s something similar here.

Yeah I did reckon they’d be the same set up as it’s a mass production unit
Ah that would make sense, it would need spacers to fit these then

F56 and F57 JCW brakes are the same. There are 2 different types of the cross spoke, one for JCW and one for non JCW. The JCW wheels have a bow in them to cover the calipers
