View Full Version : R50 wheels and tyres

I'm looking for a set of 4 wheels and legal tyres for my R50.

Condition of the wheels themselves isn't important nor is the size or type (would prefer OEM though) I do however need the tyres to be legal!

For why? Well my R50 project is currently sitting on 4 bald tyres so when I come to put it in for an MOT (once I've sorted all the other little jobs out) I just need something to throw on so that it won't fail on the tyres. Once I get an MOT pass then I'll be getting the current wheels refurbished and new tyres put on but I don't want to shell out this expense until I know the car is going to pass it's MOT!

Looking for cheap as chips here!!

Ooh they look smart, I'm already picturing them in in black / silver JCW style....

What size are they, 15inch? Also am I right that they are from a later model, I assume they'll fit an R50 ok?

If you could come back to me on the tyre condition that would be great.

Hi

The wheels where from a R53 cooper S that i turned in to a track car so will be a direct fit to the R50

The wheels are 16"

As you can see the rubber is just about legal pn them 2 have winters on them 2 normal

Thanks Stoney but I managed to pick up a more suitable set (i.e. cheaper!) at the weekend.
Yours look too good for what I need them for - hope you find another buyer!
