Well the weekend just gone has been epic, I'm shattered but it was worth it.

I was down at Bruntingthorpe with my mate and Volvo Tuning, Volvo Owners Scotland, V40 Crew but do not worry I'm not defecting, we were setting a Guiness World Record to beat 600 Volvos parked on a runway at a mile long.

Not only did we smash it at 1438 Volvo's we also raised £6100 pounds for Breast Cancer Care.

The event was set up for one of the founders of Volvo Tuning who passed away from Cancer last year.

Think we done him proud!

So true, hardly seen a caravan all the way down, we were in a convoy of about 40 Volvos leaving from Tebay from Scotland.

What surprised me is how the stereotypical Volvo driver ie a school teacher in a 245 estate is not what it seems, there were the stanced scene and their C30's, Families with V40's and V50's, it was a multi age, people had driven from Serbia, Belguim, Netherlands to be there and it was a good atmosphere, all had a laugh, people wanted pics with me and my mate in our kilts!

Surprised Mini never though of a record for their 60th!

MINI haven’t been bothered about social media and events for a couple of years now.
In the past I’ve won 4 micro MINI models, the first one of the them was one of the first 200 ever made, and also a track day at Silverstone in GP0002 from MINI.CO.UK competitions on FB but they just don’t seem bothered any more.
