Perthshire Blast 17th March

So I've decided to do another run, this time in Perthshire, the route is planned but I haven't done run notes yet, and I might have to rely on Google maps for them so they might not be as accurate as my notes normally are.

Start point: The old Baxters place just off the M90 at Junction 4 (KY4 0JR) to make it easier for anyone up north joining us.
Start time: 9.45 meet for a chat and leaving at 10am sharp

Funnily enough it was a Perthshire run organised by Craig which was my mine and Andrews (DigitalLemming) first run back in 2013 and we've both been hooked since.

DavyNo, the Duke's pass isn't far away from the route we will be taking but it's not on this run. If it's not done before I'll probably look at going over that way next time.

Hi folks just in case you missed it I've updated the first page with the start place and time. If anyone else wants to join us just let us know, the more the merrier. Run notes will be up in the next day or 2

Can I ask everyone to have a look at the menu and let me know what you'd fancy preferably before Sunday. It's just to make it easier for the Capercaillie as they're not a massive establishment, means they have enough for everyone.

I should be finished by 4pm and from where the run finishes I was going to suggest that if anyone fancied popping in to the Pirnhall Inn, (Glasgow Road, Stirling FK7 8EX) then I’d be happy to stop in and catch up with those who weren’t in a rush to head home.

I appreciate that it can be long day and that the weather could play a big part in folks decisions to hang around (due to be dry, fingers crossed) ... just let me know if anyone fancies it and I’ll head along after work.

Thanks to Eddie and Jenni for organising today’s run. Another great run with great people and laughs. The weather even held out for the most part with a few bits of rain here and there and thankfully the snow had disappeared from the roads.


It was was brilliant to see new faces on a run as well and I hope that you had a great time and that we’ll see you at the next meet.

Cracking day, great bunch of folks, cracking roads, sorry I had to dash, had to get back to the kids, but think for the next run one will be coming with me!

Really enjoying the runs, now have to say that getting that exhaust was the best choice, really makes the car come alive sound wise!

I’m not long in the house and it was a stunning run today.
Many thanks to Eddie & Jenni, the run, the scenery and laughs were top notch as always.
It was great see a few new faces today which I hope to see again at some point in the future.
I took no pics on the camera and only 2 or 3 on my phone which I’ll post up tomorrow.
I took loads on the dash cam though, don’t worry it’s a voice activated process, which I’ll download onto my phone tomorrow and post up once I’ve trawled through them all.
