What wheel cleaner are you using and any recommendations? Not looking for anything with an iron out element to it.

I’m using the infinity wax one. It’s the best one I’ve used.

Yeah, I’m a Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel convert as well but it is a brake dust dissolver/Iron X type product.

Currently using Auto Smart Red 7 - finding it superb and doesn’t seem to negatively affect the sealant I previously applied.

Thanks guys. My only hold up about the Bilt Hamber cleaner is that as it has an ironX type element to it it will strip any sealer off the wheels

William, it has not effected the sealer on my wheels at all after 5-6 cleaning sessions.
I polished, and then sealed my wheels with Poor Boys Wheel Sealant just before MMM ‘18, and they still bead up after using the B.H.A.W. even now.
You can imagine how manky my wheels get after being driven at least 56 miles per day and the B.H. stuff have not failed me yet.
If I get chance I’ll try and get Rocky cleaned at some point this weekend and get some before and after pics of the wheels for you.

Nanolex wheel sealant is the shizz, really holds up well.

Think I'm using AMDetails wheel cleaner at the mo, with the occasional use of the Bilt Hamber stuff to shift iron as and when

William, I finally remembered to take a couple of pics of my wheels whilst cleaning them.
I put 3 coats of Poorboys Wheel Sealant on them just before last years MMM.
I’ve cleaned them 6 times with the Bilt Hamber Auto Wheels since then and they still bead up.
This is what they looked like after today’s cleaning session...https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190202/e12e69b7546bab5456e96b2b119e5836.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190202/f88c7033282ad22d5f4e962247cc59e2.jpg
To be brutally honest they have lost a tiny bit of beading from when I first did them but I’d expect that using any kind of “Iron X” style cleaner.
This is what they look liked before I cleaned them today.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190202/b4661100e2c30e4b26755006d99e79b0.jpg

If they are so well sealed then you shouldn't really need a dedicated wheel cleaner for the regular washes. Maybe twice a year when removing them you will need to use a cleaner or iron cut prior to re-sealing.

If they are all sealed up nice when fully cleaned and you are then washing regularly you should just be able to clean them with regular car shampoo.

I spray them with the BH AW to make the cleaning even easier.
It only takes 2-3 squirts to do an entire wheel so I don’t actually use a lot but it does get rid of the brake dust.

I dilute my wheel cleaner and spray it on through a pressure sprayer - at this time of year I don't even physically touch the wheels

Think I’m going to have to get some of this as the Clubby wheels are now starting to look a bit tarnished after all the salt that’s been thrown all over the roads.
