Wider tyres?

Hello, I've just purchased aftermarket wheels (in prep for next summer) and I'm looking at tyres. The rims are 6.5j X 16 and on standard cooper s tyres are 195/55/r16. Can I put slightly wider tyres with maybe a tad less profile without affecting speedometer readings?

I've been looking at 205/45/r16 would these be fine to run? I also have 30mm springs too, would there be any rubbing?

If you have a look at robs yellow r53 he is on 16s and has a good stance. His thread is stoney's track slag
