Hi,

I am a newbie to this site but not new to mini's.

I have had a few new mini's in my time. I usually like to buy ones down on their luck and restore them back to factory before moving onto the next one.
Currently I have a 2001 R50 cooper that I am working on that might be for sale soon, (not sure though as I quite like this one).

Hope to speak/meet some of you soon.

Sandy

Hey elgassi,

Good to see another Perth member here.

Do you have any pics of your current car?

only just got the car, haven't had anytime to do anything apart from give it a clean
more time and money required before I get started on it :yes nod:
as you'll notice the tail pipes are missing from the exhaust, but apart from that it's a good base car to mod

That looks a nice car.
What are your plans for it?

once I get time, space in my garage...Oh and some spare money
I'd like to get a few goodies :yes nod:
Miltek Cat Back and Janspeed Manifold, Oranjje Stealth or dave F airbox
15 or 17% pulley, belt, plugs and maybe an upgrade coil pack ?
16'' x 7 Hairpins & Tyres, pick up a Scoop M7 if poss and maybe try a Pro Alloy I/C or get an Airtech
after that It'll all depends on how the old girl handles those mods

*edit - I'd need to upgrade the Front brakes, so I can stop the thing*

They are the aero bars, you’re right! [emoji6] Just wait until it has two clunky bikes covered in mud on it! [emoji38]

Had her for 2 years and 6 days, spent thousands trying to fix her and hundreds on oil but she’s bloody good fun! [emoji16]

Well that's it up for sale. My garage is about to get demolished to make way for an extension so I need the space, ( secretly want to get a Cooper S but don't tell the wife  ).

The advert should soon be in the for sale section of the forum.
