I’m sadly having to report that I’ve had my first ever Garmin failure !!!
[emoji30]
On Monday my Garmin 55 died and it just would not power on no matter what I did.

I emailed Garmin on Monday, received a reply on Tuesday, I posted it off on Wednesday and they have sent me a completely new, fully boxed 55 today, Thursday, with the usb lead, charge cable and wee magnetic holder.

I just can not fault them on their customer service.

Excellent news all round. I’ve had to contact them a couple of times for minor things and I have to say that I’ve no complaints with their resolving of issues. I think that’s why I’m always happy to pay the extra and buy their equipment. They always seem very keen to go the extra mile ... fingers crossed this one doesn’t give you any cause to complain Pete [emoji106]

Yes Davy, I was pleasantly surprised with the speed of their actions.

May be they looked at the records and thought I’d spent enough with them to warrant a Gold Star Service.

Yes William, they certainly know how to keep their customers happy if anything does go wrong.
