Strut brace

Hi picked one of these but tried it on my R 50 and R 52 and on both causes the bonnet to sit up slightly do people cut the sound insulation to fit the brace ?

I actully took the insulation off :Whistle:

Sound insulation = weight, so take it off and go faster!
