R55 Clubman JCW - but no aero kit???

Hi guys, still on the lookout for a JCW clubbie and thought I'd found one this week in Yorkshire.

But, when the pics appeared today it doesn't have the bumpers or side skirts I'd expect on a JCW, it just looks like an S with jcw badging. Has anyone ever seen this before? Could this be an S with the tuning kit?

Very disappointing anyway.

Hmmm that’s weird. Got the right exhaust and gearknob is right... wheels are also correct but bodykit missing...

What's different with the exhaust Craig, compared to an S? And should the wheel not be the part alcantara job? You can tell I'm no 'R' expert.

If it is a fake it's a really convincing one. Other than the wheel and lack of body kit everything else seems correct. Was start stop an option I thought it came standard on the minis

Did a quick lookup on the reg plate and it does come back as a JCW

Early JCWs never came with the JCW wheel but just the sports leather wheel as what's fitted to the above. May just be a JCW and someone never liked the aerokit so swapped it out

The std exhaust is smaller diameter and chrome tipped. The JCW exhaust is bigger diameter and all stainless ..

Only time I've seen a Jcw with no bodykit was on saabkyles YouTube channel but that had the American aero kit.

£230 Road tax is that because it has no start stop. I though jcws were just a band up from the S so around £180
