Hello nms. Genuinely, what a great forum. Interesting, relevant and good fun. I'm new to the mini game having switched from mgtf's. Now before you all start telling me jokes about rust, head gaskets and bits falling off.....I've heard them all....(maybe)

I'm looking fwd to getting involved in the club and taking part in a few drive events etc.

I have a standard 07 cooper on 31k miles. It's in great nick but the service history isn't great. So I'm after a bit of advice.....

Does anyone know of an independent garage/mechanic near Fife that will take on some work at a fair price? To begin with, it needs all fluids/discs/pads/4 tyres/alloys restored and prob one or two bushes in need of a change.
Luckily the car's been driven by one elderly owner so mechanically and cosmetically it's fine.

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance!

Craig

Hi Craig welcome to NMS.

A huge favourite with a lot of members is B&M in Glasgow.
It’s a tad further than you’ve asked for but I have not one moan, gripe or whinge about any work that has ever been carried out there.
I can’t speak from personal experience if I’m honest due to the fact that I live just south of Doncaster.
A few who have used B&M will no doubt be along shortly to give you more detailed info.

Sent from Yorkshire wi a hint o’ sarcasm.

Welcome to NMSland :saltireflag:

Any competent independent garage should be able to carry out that work for you & maybe a few of our 'Fifers' will pop along soon with a few options. As mentioned B&M are the experts should you be able to pop over to Glasgow :thumbs up:

Welcome to NMS.

I’ve used B&M on several occasions and always delighted with their work. Well worth the extra distance
