I've currently got the Pipercross induction kit in my MO but am considering changing for something a bit more louder:D:p - can anyone recommend something? Btw are the Typhoon Kits for One/Coopers offered by NewMiniSport any good? I like the idea of replacing the pipes etc with alum colour-coded versions...

If you want a K&N try these people FasterFilters (http://www.fasterfilters.co.uk/) - the site is a bit cr*p but they were the cheapest when I got the filter for my S. They sell a lot on on ebay - but just email them and tell them what you want and they will give you a better price.

My RamAir one is noticably louder than the PiperX one! :D

Dunno about any of the rest of them. Think the typhoon ones may be quieter since they're more enclosed tho...

The K & N is a lot louder than the RamAir. It's been a while since I drove with a PiperX but I am pretty sure the K & N is louder. I am talkingabout the 57i. I haven't tried the Typhoon.

I thought the typhoon was similar to the 57i apart from it has anodised metal bits rather than plastic? Could be wrong though. The Piercross Viper is much quiter as it is fully encapsulated but it does sound nice - very deep sound. The RamAir is a good bet if you do big mileages as the K&N 57i can be a bit intrusive at times. I like it though .... BRRRROOOOMMMM!!!!
