Is anyone able to clear up where are the electric minis are going to be built are they being built solely in China or are they being built at Oxford as well. Just read an article stating bmw are outsourcing production to great wall, but also restated that bmw have chosen Oxford to build the mini E

All the news from July 2017 said U.K. but everything from February 2018 says China...

Yeah hopefully bmw will make a statement and clear things up. Oxford seems a weird choice since they already have their battery plant in Germany.

I’m guessing that due to the cheapness of labour, the size of the market and the vast sums of money flying about in China at the mo Oxford will not be their first choice...
