Hi folks.
I bought my 2003 MCS last summer as s substitute for my MX-5 hillclimb car which I sold at the end of the previous season.
I don't intend racing it but will be doing a few track days. The car has been through GT Tuning in Hampshire with a previous owner and has their GT220 package so it's rapid and great fun to drive.
I have since added coilovers, braided brake lines, high temp fluid, grooved and dimpled discs and mintex m1144 pads.
Over time I will do a few more tweaks. Probably add some strut braces bucket seats and harnesses, the leather interior is lovely with heated seats but a bit slippy for track work!
Anyway, I hope to meet some of you on some of the runs and if there are any track days/ nights organised I would definitely hope to get there.

I am not much good with spanners so have already posted a couple of questions in the engine and gearbox section which I would appreciate your help with.

All the best

Colin

Just check the oil and stay away from any tyre barriers and you'll be fine :hand:

Err, yeah, thanks for reminding me. Hopefully I have learned those lessons!

Thanks for the warm welcome folks. I'm sure this will be a frequent source of info and experience for me as I try to keep my mini on the road with limited mechanical skills!
