Hi Folks,
Had my clubby for almost 3 years now and noticed that one of the official mini LED DRLs has stopped working on either DRL or sidelight mode. The foglight setting still works though.
I noticed that the lenses of both were a bit steamed up inside, not sure if this has been the cause. In any case i assume there is no warranty on them.
I can buy a whole new kit (controller and 2 lights) for about £240 or a single light unit for about £110. Trouble is, how can i be sure its the lamp unit and not the controller that is defective?
I got my multimeter out and checked the voltage at the plug. I was surprised to read a voltage of 75v dc when on DRL mode? This doesn't seem right at all?
Don't suppose anyone has a spare drl they can sell? Otherwise its a bumper off job to try the unit at the other side of the car.
Ill try to log on via tapatalk to add some photos but i haven't been able to get logged on via it for a few months, iust tells me 'network error'
