Not been on for God knows how long.

Anyway, I drive a 2011 R56 Cooper S.
A fortnight ago I came back to my car in Falkirk Retail park and was sitting having lunch, in the car, with the door open.....minding my own.....when a woman comes up to me with the dreaded words no car owner wants to hear, "Excuse me, I damaged your car!".

Fair play to the woman for owning up but I still wonder how the heck someone can make contact with a car that's stationary....with hardly any cars around it!!

After getting a quote of around £350 from a guy I know in a bodyshop, the insurance said to go through only their approved bodyshop. Fair enough.
Was told I would have no liability and claims would not be affected and wouldnt even have to be out of pocket for a courtesy car.
Got a call the next day or two "Yes we have note on file that your eligible for an upgraded car. It will be a higher spec than normal".......bonus.

Dropped my car at my parents house last Wed for it to be picked up and the hire car to be dropped off.

Came back to this :

Having driven it for the past few days.....nah, not for me. To start with it has 2 too many doors for me. I'm 6'7" and any time I get in and out a 4/5 door I'm smacking my rear end and my back off the pillars. That aside......I was expecting to naturally prefer the newer model......I just don't.
The only things I would take from it are the keyless ignition and the seats.......that's all.

I'm pining......I miss my little 3 door black, pocket rocket of fun and am counting the days until she's back.

Hope all is fixed to your satisfaction and nowadays driving standards are so poor that I can believe that someone can drive into a stationary vehicle
