Mini Cooper 1.5 Clubman

Hi there,

I'm looking at getting some work carried out on our Clubman.... just a bit more power and ideally a bit more noise from the 3-pot.

It's booked into a garage next Friday to get chipped - I've noticed that a Stage 2 is available for the engine but requires an aftermarket downpipe + decat/ sports cat.

Question..... is the standard Cooper hatch down pipe / cat the same as on the Clubman? So far nobody has been able to help me (neither Milltek nor the garage have worked on a Clubman yet).

I don't know for sure but I'm sure it will be, it's unlikely they would go to the bother of engineering a different solution if they didn't have to.

The exhaust itself will be different due to the length of the car

Yeah that's what I'm presuming - but garage unwilling to take the chance and will charge me if I order the wrong kit.

One other thing to remember same unit in I8 just in different state of tune ,interesting to see your results
