Changing the coils

I have just changed 2 of the coils on my mini and just been informed that I should have changed all 4 of them at the same time is this true?

You don't need to. I would say its just good practise.

Unless one was broken before it's time, in terms of maintenance I would do the lot at the same time, as well as the plugs
