Finally my garage conversion is ready for the Mini's! Have attached a few pics to show the progress. I painted the roof and walls white to keep them nice and bright, and red skirting for a splash of colour. Just need some pictures up to complete it.

Also this allowed me to empty the original garage of car stuff and put it all in this one, leaving the other for tools etc.

It's a slight pain having to move a car at the front to get the R53 out, but it makes it easier for the wife to take either the Z4 or R56 to work. It's an old Royal Mail sorting office - so it has a toilet, running water, central heating and power!

I've told Laura I need a dumb waiter so she can send me dinner and I'll just live there [emoji1]

That's the way to do it! If it was in London it'd be worth £2 million and you'd have a family living in it...

My Mini got kicked out of my (sadly unheated) garage last April when the '74 MGB arrived - it went in the huff and wouldn't come out from under its cover for weeks. Now I've shown them these pics and NEITHER of them are talking to me. The wee Fabia just sat in the drive as usual and muttered (in Czechoslovakian) about "Feckin' Radiators" and "Spoilt B***ard decadent Western soft boy cars". No pleasing some cars...
