R53 wheel speed sensor

Has anyone came across a difficult wheel speed sensor and successfully removed it? Having bother with my nearside front!

Yes, they do fail, and yes, they rust into the hub. I paid a spanner monkey to fix mine

Just removed mine today mate.
The way i done it was removed the bolt on hub and then hammered it through from the hub end
