Come and see what your mini is producing or just come along for the drive and a bit of banter.

Okay, I've been in touch with a few rolling road places and enquiring about prices and possible discounts

I've said possibly mid July and the possibility of 15-20 cars on the RR on the day to get a decent discount, I'm certain the last RR day I attended it was £25 per car but that was a good 7 years ago now

It would be around the Falkirk so it's a little more central.

I know nobody knows me but I was told to just batter in and start looking into it and arranging it all.

If a deposit is needed I'll pay it once I get a rough number who can make it, or if they want the full amount upfront then we can sort that out once we get some numbers together.

If you are interested in attending please comment below, even if you just fancy coming along for a day out comment below.

I'm still waiting on a response from the companies I've messaged, if they don't reply I'll phone them tomorrow.

Mid or end of July would be best weather wise.

I'll await for date confirmation and prices before I compile a list of who's coming on the original post.

Would be good to get as many as possible but I'm sure there will be limited spaces on the day

I might be up for coming along to this. Not sure if I'd put my car on the dyno though

If it's cheap it's worth a run, see if it's making anywhere near its power that it left the factory with.

If not there's the whole engine treatment thing, forget what it's called but I got it done on my old M3 after it was running poorly and down on power

Hypertech, sos, ecosse Peugeot tuning

Only three so far, hypertech seems particularly poplular

Ecosse although Peugeot have a very good reputation and reliable RR with accurate results.

If anyone has any other suggestion please say, it's a minimum of 10 cars for it to go ahead and I've had one quote from sos for £45 per car and 3 runs which to me seems excessive

I'll be pushing for £35 at the most so the more companies I contact the better to get the best price

I know folk at them all believe it or not ... personally I would see if you could get up to VES sport in Braco. They might be worth a shout too. They do most of the chipping for the UK and have an excellent reputation within the motorsport community.
Mid Lane Garage, Braco 01786 880941 if that helps.
Just a thought as I say.
The only thing with SOS might be the parking ...
Ecosse are now Porsche specialists but certainly would cope with parking of all the cars (as would Hypertech).
Fingers crossed and well done for taking it on ...

There is also Star Performance in Fife. Always been impressed with the Star performance guys over the years :yes nod:

Think there's a place in Hillington and Rosyth too.

I think £45 is reasonable for SOS as long as somebody answers the phone!

I'll call them and see what they say and get a date, sos said it would only be the morning they'd do it which isn't ideal but then again if it starts at 10am and get 10-15 cars done then we could take a run somewhere for lunch

I'll also try star performance, it sounds familiar I think its where I took my Clio 182 to get done and it made less power than what it should have been! Was a bit disappointed with the one

Well if £40-£45 is the going rate I'll accept it and pay a deposit, good money £450 for a couple of hours work
