r56 lower bumper grill

I recently bought a factory jcw but the lower bumper doesn't have the side vents like my other r56 jcw is this the norm ?

08 JCWs never had the lower brake ducts. A lot of people changed to have them

think I will swap mine over as putting the dealer jcw up for sale
