guys just changed the intercooler on the r56 to the forge unit , was thinking about a sports cat or de cat before a map advice please

Will be really noisy with the challenge exhaust. You won't get much more power with the decat/ sports Cat along with the map

Check my spec below. Forge Intercooler, Milltek Downpipe/Sports Cat, JCW 'Stage 1' exhaust system, Alta intake (mainly for the sound effects!) and Chris Knox/DNA Tuning remap. 230BHP/260lbs/ft Torque.

The main ones are the Intercooler and Downpipe which mean you're set up for a remap. Mine sounds nice without being noisy and goes reasonably well...

I ran the evolve de-cat on my Cooper S for a few months then pulled it out. Bit droney for me on the motorway. The occasional flame was a nice. It dyno'd at 220 with and 218 without so no creditable performance increase.
