I was looking at the online Mini accessories download manual tonight and noticed this about the HUD on page 52 of the brochure. Now I have the HUD fitted on my Clubman but this is new information to me. I've found the App in Apple Store and downloaded it. Will need to see tomorrow if it's compatible with my car.
Has anyone used this 'upgrade'?
Lots of new live time info can be displayed.

MINI HEAD-UP SCREEN.
The Head-Up Screen is a new and innovative product that displays various car and navigation information on a transparent screen.
The screen is installed on the dashboard and is positioned at the height of the steering wheel. All of the information is therefore in the driver's direct line of vision.
The Head-Up Screen has an integrated smartphone interface.
As a result, information from smartphone apps can also be displayed. Garmin, as a navigation specialist, offers a matching navigation application.
As a result, next to the relevant vehicle data, the Head-Up Screen also displays navigation information. All of the settings can also be carried out via the free-of-charge Head-Up Screen app.

This is for the retro fit HUD like what we have fitted in the Clubvan. Will be no use if you have factory HUD

Ok William thanks for that. I thought I was getting a nice software update from Mini.
