Most are saying, put a block of wood behind the front jack points, jack on the wood and drop the jack points on the stands

Every 'guide' to this doesn't show the car in question with an aerokit and having scoped out my car the point where I should be placing the wood I can flex with my hand the bottom of the skirt.

So, where do you folks rest the car? Subframe? Where would be best?

The axle stands I have fit /attach under the hubs ,so you can use the jacking points as normal

I've put stands where the wishbone meets the chassis IIRC, under the subframe

I put my front wheels on scaffold boards I've cut, two high. I then use my low entry jack from the front and aim the pad of the Jack for the big circular cut out on the subframe, behind the power steering fan. It's up in no time.

You could always whip of the front end if your Jack doesn't have long enough reach.

Jack it up and put the stands on the crash bars.

I like to get cars right up off 4 wheels to work on them, but I find the mini a bit of a ballache as when you start lifting the back when the front's up, the car moves forward. Basically it has to be done front, back, front, back etc. PITA
