View Full Version : Winter Tyre Problem

I'm having the most difficult time trying to source winter tyres for my F54. OEM is 225-40/18 Y XL92 Run Flats.
Best rated I can find in RF is V which is well less than OEM and probably would have insurance implications.
There are more choices in normal non RF tyres with higher ratings in 18'' but am I wrong in thinking that the car suspension is set up to use RF?
If I bought a set of 17''alloys then sourcing 225-45/17 RF is much easier in higher rating W.
Dilemma.
Have sent an email to Mini to see what they say.

Found some tyres that will do on the 18''.

Just need to find the best price now.
